Nationwide Building Society has been recognised for growing female talent after being named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list 2014.
Nationwide is focussed on attracting and promoting female talent across the organisation and this approach to development has seen high levels of women participating in talent programmes.
Today we salute Nationwide. 70% of their staff and 2/3rds of the management team are female so it seems their focus on female talent has paid off.
The Times Top 50 Employers for Women List is published every year in the UK to champion employers who are achieving results for gender equality and diversity. Opportunity Now selects the list independently using criteria which assesses “consistent commitment to recruitment, retention and progression of women”.
Despite the fact that Nationwide are a sponsor of Opportunity Now we congratulate Nationwide for its achievement. What we’d love to see is a traditionally male-dominated industry win top place on the list!
